Window notepad, Microsoft word or any plain text editor will do the job. Note for beginner: Please take a piece of a paper and write down these steps. Download the zip file and save it to your desktop. Double click the zip file. Your default zip utility will extract the file for you. If it doesn't open it automatically, it means you need some kind of zip utility like Winzip for Window or Aladin for Mac. Click here look for File Compression Utility. After you unzip the file BE SURE you know where you are saving your files. Here is our suggestion, if you use WINZIP Double click the zip file. Choose WinZip Wizard instead of Classic. You will be prompted to what you want to do with the file. Select "Unzip or Install from" option. Click Next. You will be prompted to where you want to save the file. Select DIFFERENT FOLDER option, it will open a new window. Click on DESKTOP Click on NEW... Name your folder such as "my website" And hit ok And hit ok again. Click on UNZIP NOW. Automatically winzip opens the folder for you. Close your winzip, you don't need it anymore. Now if you click on your desktop you will see a folder called "my website" In that folder you'll see "ReadMe", "index", "flash movie"( look for starburst icon), and a folder "txt". Inside the folder "txt", there are files the number of which will be different, depending on how I the designed the template. These are the files, which you will change to modify the template. I hope that you find these templates useful as is, but I realize I can not make everyone happy.
